The World Has Gone mo·bile

As we all know, the popularity of mobile technologies has skyrocketed in the past few years.  With mobile devices being the "popular kids" in today's society, people are more willing and able to stay in the loop with social networking.  With a swift reach into our pocket, we are able to check in at our favourite hot spot online, check out what are friends are doing and see how friends and family near and far have been spending their time.  Not only can we stay in the loop socially, but social networking has enabled us to remotely stay on top of other responsibilities such as school and work without even having to step foot into the workplace or school to obtain important files, deadlines or information.

So what exactly does mobile mean?
Well by definition mobile means "Capable of moving or being moved readily from place to place".  This seems to be favourable in a high paced society where nobody seems to have enough time and with the combination of features such as Facebook, Twitter, Email and Remote log ins, there's no telling where the possibilities will end.
