Apple who has always focused on their customer relations also shows consumers that their opinion matters by using email after they visit a retail store location.  Apple sends customers an email asking them to rate their overall experiences at the retail store and a representative from the specific location personally addresses all concerns directly with the customer.

Businesses are also using Social networking for productivity.  With the advancement in email reliability and security businesses can effortlessly share documentation with the click of a button.  Businesses can also seek experienced job candidates using websites such as linkedin and other job posting websites which allows them to view a large amount of candidates in a short period of time.

Overall the advancement of social media has made it possible for businesses to run smoother than ever.  Businesses are able to be extremely productive in a short matter of time while collaborating with colleagues and partners abroad.
